About the event
Getting started with drawing and painting can sometimes have you stumped...... that blank page or canvas stops you in your tracks.
How do we begin? Making 'friends' with your reference picture, either a photo or found image, starts with learning how to see what is really there, the thing that draws you.
What is really there and what our brain thinks is there can be worlds apart, and trip you up.
Discovering how to create the 'tonal values' will give shape, form and depth. Let's play with paint.... and find a whole new skill set that helps set you free from the freeze up 💥
This 2 and a half hour introductory session is at ART 🎨 HOUSE STUDIO 3165 Ohaupo Rd Hamilton. Look for the orange flag.
