Meegah Nation and Leslie Hodgson
Cambridge Art House was founded by Cambridge artist Meeghan Nation mid 2021 after a number of years of facilitating public art events around the Waikato. She renovated a beautiful space on her own property and opened the doors to a permanent studio which has delighted adults and children with her pop up events , Kids Art Club (during term time and school holidays), and hosted 8 week workshops programs for regular adult Art Club members.
Leslie assisted Meeghan at events prior to the 2020 disruptions and is now proudly taking the reigns of Art House, as Meeghans next chapter overseas begins! Leslie is an experienced creative tutor and an artist herself, with a passion for facilitating others to enjoy life and explore their creative side! Cambridge Art House is rebranding as ''ART HOUSE Creative Classes, Events & Workshops', now offering a mobile service, travelling to local hospitality venues near you. Also operating from Leslie's Country home studio, or ask about an event at your place!
About the Artist

Leslie is a Waikato-based mixed media artist who has been following her creativity and passion for art since her very early days.
Over the past 35 years, Leslie has channelled this passion into the creation of her own unique creative life. As a Painter, Sculptor, Weaver, Landscape Designer and mixed media practitioner, Leslie is an exhibited & commissioned artist, tutor, and creator extraordinaire, with several Design, Art & Creativity Diplomas, and Natural Health & Yoga qualifications, Leslie is passionate about facilitating others into their most creative selves.

Art House Creative Classes are a beautiful venture in conjunction with the founder of Cambridge Art House, Meeghan Nation. Leslie as a long-time creative colleague, has stepped in, as Meeghan travels, to continue facilitating creative self-expression into any lives, young or old, willing to try their hands!

Partnering with local venues means our 'PAINT DATES" are accessible around Hamilton, Cambridge, Morrinsville and other Waikato townships, in a convivial atmosphere, where food
and drinks may be enjoyed alongside friends and a healthy serving of ART!
Open to all ages, we supply everything you need to paint. We can travel to you, so nobody needs to miss our fun-filled, social, arty experiences!
Our venues love our events drawing in new and regular clientele, and our ART HOUSE customers love the hospitality of local venues for meet-ups with friends (old and new).
